It's sad to see that today, a very few designers participate in the couture week and it's loosing its charm every season but nevertheless there are still a few great names out there like Armani, Chanel,Valentino who are adding life to it through their stupendous creations !
This fall winter couture left me spell-bound and I am waiting to hear all the oooh and aaaah's from you as you scroll down the page. At Couture the approach of the designers are always different from the Pret ! Here, they infuse all their energy, creativity to realize their true fantasies by adapting rigorous techniques which mostly comprises the hand work than the machine.
This couture week saw the trend of exquisite dresses with some painstaking embroidery and sequin work done on them, dresses which represented the dream of a woman, shinning like a white light. Most of them in metallic shades with lots of volume, beading, cut-work and fluidity in sheer fabric like organza, tulle, told the story of a glamorous princess who is very feminine and sexy !

@ Rachhh..Yes, couture is all about detailing and hand crafting techniques on exquisite rich fabrics..Elie Saab really did a great job this season. Givenchy is also good but my favorite this season Valentino :)
